Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To be convinced available a protective number code – for autoradio with the anticreeping coding.
  2. To disconnect the battery.
  3. To insert an unblocking bracket (sometimes is included in the package with the built-in autoradio) into four openings on corners of the forward panel and to pull out autoradio from the central console.
  4. Or to insert four suitable nailing or a piece of a wire in openings and them to deblock fixing springs.
  5. To pull out autoradio forward, if necessary in addition carefully hooking a screw-driver.
  6. To remove sockets of a wire and the antenna.
  7. At installation to watch that the fixing pin of autoradio behind entered the eye intended for this purpose in the dashboard. For this purpose it is necessary to keep autoradio absolutely horizontally.
  8. To press a little radio into an assembly opening that fixing springs were latched.
  9. To gather a number code at models of autoradio with the anticreeping coding according to the maintenance instruction.

 Help: the protective number code will need to be entered anew and in case of a detachment of the battery, replacement of a safety lock of autoradio or separation of wires of giving of food for autoradio.

At the left: on an illustration removal of autoradio by means of two unblocking brackets is shown (1 and 2). Unblocking brackets press on fixing springs (3), disconnecting them, thanks to it it is possible to take out radio from an opening for embedding.

On the right: to approach two fixing screws (2) forward loudspeakers, it is necessary to remove a covering carefully.

Removal of the loudspeakers located in the dashboard

In Audi 80 at the upper right and at the left in the dashboard there are loudspeakers. The description of removal and installation is given below.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Small screw-driver carefully to lift a covering of the loudspeaker and to remove it.
  2. The loudspeaker is fixed by means of two screws with crosswise shliyets.
  3. At installation to press fixing pins in dredging on the dashboard.

Back loudspeakers are located in a covering of doors.

At the left: after a detachment of the loudspeaker attached to a reverse side of a covering of a door (black shooters point to fastening points), there is available a loudspeaker (2). It is also screwed directly on a covering (white shooters show on fixing screws).

On the right: the high-frequency loudspeaker (2) is established separately and fixed by a carving ring (1).

Loudspeakers in a covering of back doors

If back loudspeakers were installed at plant, they are in a covering of back doors.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To remove a covering of doors.
  2. To disconnect the loudspeaker on a reverse side of a covering.
  3. To weaken three fixing screws of the loudspeaker and to disconnect a wire.
  4. High-frequency loudspeakers: to turn off a carving ring behind on dynamics, to disconnect a wire.
