Indicator of cooling liquid

If the indicator of cooling liquid starts blinking during the movement, it is necessary to stop immediately.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To check the level of cooling liquid (the head the Cooling system) and if necessary to add cooling liquid or water.
  2. If the engine hot, and the level of cooling liquid meets standard, it is necessary to check, whether the electric fan of the cooling system at the included ignition works. If it costs, despite the heated engine, it is necessary to address to the list of malfunctions on the cooling system fan (the head the Cooling system).
  3. Last opportunity: neipraven one of two sensors of this indicator (see the following section).

Search of malfunctions of the indicator of cooling liquid

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check of the indicator: at ignition inclusion the indicator of cooling liquid blinks for action check. If it does not occur:
  2. To check the corresponding safety lock (the head the Body electrical system).
  3. If he is serviceable, it is necessary to remove a combination of devices, to remove and check the indicator.
  4. If a bulb as it should be, it is necessary to check a wire or to replace the block of minisystem.
  5. Check of the temperature sensor in the motor block: if the indicator blinks even at cold or (working) engine having normal working temperature, that, possibly, the temperature sensor is faulty.
  6. To separate the multicontact plug at the temperature sensor: the bulb has to go out.
  7. To bring a wire to the indicator of cooling liquid to "weight": the bulb has to start blinking again.
  8. If so occurred in both cases, so the bulb is serviceable; that is the reason should be looked for in the sensor or conducting. Or in the sensor of level of cooling liquid.
  9. Check of the sensor of level of cooling liquid in a broad tank:
  10. The sensor is installed from below in a compensation tank and rigidly connected with it.
  11. If the indicator blinks despite the right level of liquid, it is necessary to disconnect a wire from the sensor.
  12. If after that the blinking stops, it is necessary to clear the sensor in a tank or to replace a tank.
