Otherwise it is necessary to replace the engine

The engine of a screen wiper or the bringing wire are faulty?

To find out existence of malfunction of the engine of a screen wiper or conducting you will be helped by the following check:

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To remove the left part of a covering over the water catching capacity behind in a motor compartment, having opened before it a rotary latch. If necessary in addition to remove the left screen wiper.
  2. To separate the multicontact plug of the engine of a screen wiper.
  3. Now it is necessary to lay two auxiliary wires. One from a positive conclusion of the accumulator to the plug 53 or 53b (connections of black-gray or greenish-yellow wires).
  4. The second wire is laid from a negative conclusion of the accumulator to the plug of 31 engines of a screen wiper (there where the brown wire was inserted).
  5. The screen wiper has to work at the first or second speed, depending on the plug chosen for connection now. Otherwise malfunction of the engine of a screen wiper is available.
  6. If the screen wiper started working, so malfunction is covered in the switch or in the bringing conducting.

Removal of the engine of a screen wiper

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To include ignition and screen wipers.
  2. When the lever of a screen wiper is on glass on a half of the course (that is under 45 °) to switch off ignition and by that to detain a screen wiper in this situation.
  3. To remove screen wiper levers.
  4. To remove a black plastic cover of the water catching capacity, having opened the rotary switch and having removed back sealing laying of a motor compartment.
  5. To turn out two six-sided bolts above on axes of screen wipers and one below at the engine.
  6. To separate the multicontact plug of the engine of a screen wiper.
  7. To remove screen wiper levers together with the engine.
  8. To disconnect drafts from screen wiper axes
  9. To turn out three screws at the screen wiper engine. To reach all screws, it is necessary to turn an engine crank.

Installation of the new engine of a screen wiper

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To connect to the electrician of the engine and to leave to work short time. To switch off and wait until it returns to a starting position.
  2. To install the engine on the console, to put on a driving crank and levers of screen wipers.
  3. The driving lever to the left axis of a screen wiper is put on an engine crank from below, the right axis of a screen wiper connects to an engine crank from above.
  4. Now so to tighten an engine crank that he got up in the situation shown in drawing on the right below.
  5. If not to fix a driving crank in this certain situation, at a start of motion levers will move down.
  6. Installation of levers of brushes of a screen wiper: fixing screws should be tightened quite poorly because they sit in plastic plugs!
