Repair of a steering

Check on tightness of the steering mechanism with the amplifier

If in a receiver the lowered liquid level is found, it is necessary to check all system of the steering mechanism as soon as possible. Otherwise the amplifier of the steering mechanism can suddenly stop work during the movement. The sequence of check is given below:

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To turn out a steering wheel once to the right and once on the left against the stop. Thus in the power steering the highest possible pressure is formed, and not tight places will become more noticeable.
  2. To leave a steering wheel in one of extreme provisions and to check the following places for leakage:
  3. Rotor valve. It is located approximately where the steering column connects to the steering mechanism. Working liquid in this case acts in salon of the car under a control panel on a forward wall.
  4. Dribble on sealing laying of a gear lath or sealing laying in the left tip. For check to weaken clips of a casing and to shift it aside.
  5. On the hydraulic pump. For detection of leakage, perhaps, before check it is necessary to wash the engine.
  6. On connections of pipelines. It is necessary to check and if necessary to dozatyanut all connections separately.
