The general
- If the forward bridge or one of forward wheels is raised, the drive is absent.
- If the back bridge is raised, the drive is absent.
- If one of back wheels is raised, the drive is absent, in that case if the differential of the back bridge is not blocked.
- If the driveshaft is separated from a transmission, the drive is absent.
Check of brakes

- Check of action of brakes can happen poosno at the normal test bench for check of brakes at a low speed (max of 6 km/h).
- Thus the drive has to proceed from the test bench.
- Transfers or blocking of differential should not be included.

Check of power
|
|
- Check of power cannot be made at the ordinary test bench by determination of power for two driving wheels.
- It is necessary to use the test bench for four wheels.

Wheels The suspension bracket of a back wheel of Audi 80 quattro consists of the following details:
- All four wheels have to have the identical piece of a way passed for one turn (ideally the identical depth of a profile of a protector).
- Balancing of wheels on the car (dynamic balancing) is possible only if all four wheels are raised. The drive has to proceed from the car engine (not from the balancing machine).

Winter tires

Towage
- If at towage all four wheels of Audi slide on a paving, it is not required any special instructions.
- If wheels of one of bridges (after accident) are not able to slide any more, it is necessary to ship the car on the low-frame wrecker.
- If the similar wrecker out of striking distances, it is possible to tow the car and with one raised bridge. Condition: not further than 50 km and not quicker, than 50 km/h. Blocking of differential should not be included (however, it and is so improbable). At an exit for a framework of the specified limits damages of a transmission because of a lack of greasing are possible.
