Replacement of engine oil and oil filter

The carving stopper of a masloslivny opening can be got only after removal of the lower protection of a motor compartment. The cap key best of all will be suitable for untwisting. |

Thus the oil filter (1) by means of a key collar is turned off (2). On an illustration the filter of the 4-cylinder engine is shown. |

|
- Oil needs to be changed only on the heated-up engine! If necessary it is possible to be passed a little to warm the motor.
- The Audi 80 car whenever possible to lift and fix horizontally (on support!) or to tire out on a platform.
- To remove the lower protection of a motor compartment, see chapter about a body.
- To substitute a suitable vessel under the oil pallet.
- To open a carving stopper of a masloslivny opening a ring key. To allow oil to flow down. Carefully, it is hotter!
- If you raised the car only in front, for full plum of the fulfilled oil it is necessary to lower the car once again. Watch that thus capacity with the fulfilled oil was not damaged or overturned.
- To substitute capacity for the fulfilled oil under an oil filter.
- To turn off an oil filter by means of a key collar. At very densely sitting filter to punch a screw-driver a filter wall (carefully, hot oil follows) and to scroll the filter.
- Slightly to grease with plastic greasing a sealing ring on a new oil filter. Not to apply for this purpose oil because at visual control it is easily wrong to take it for the following oil.
- To wrap an oil filter a hand without use of any tools.
- To wipe dry and absolutely carving stopper of a maslozalivny mouth and to screw it with a new sealing ring; carefully, not to damage the directing carving in the oil pallet.
- To fill in oil (see the table).
- To start the engine, to check oil for an effluence.
