Hummock drive of "gas"

The connecting cable between a pedal of an accelerator and system of injection is very sensitive to a longitudinal bend. During the works in a motor compartment you have to watch that the disconnected cable was not "broken" with a small radius therefore on it there can be damages.

Replacement of the hummock drive of "gas"

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On the end of the hummock drive to remove fixing brackets and in a point of fastening of a cover of the hummock drive protection of the plug.
  2. To uncover in salon the car at the left under the dashboard (chapter about salon).
  3. To extend eyes of the hummock drive from a fixing tip on the accelerator pedal lever.
  4. To squeeze out a rubber tip from a partition between a motor compartment and salon of the car.
  5. To extend the hummock drive of "gas".
  6. At installation of a rubber tip of a new rope of "gas" to watch that the cable was not bent.

At the left: in a bulk branch pipe of cooling liquid on the left side of the engine there are a sensor of temperature of cooling liquid of system of injection of Mono-Motronic (1), and also the sensor of the indicator of temperature of cooling liquid with the switch for the indicator (2).

On the right: round the hummock drive; figures designate:

1 and 2 – fixing brackets;
3 – protection of the plug;
4 – plug of the regulator of provision of a butterfly valve;
5 – an emphasis of a butterfly valve with the idling signal switch.

Adjustment of the hummock drive

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Completely to squeeze out an accelerator pedal.
  2. To squeeze out the lever of a butterfly valve in the provision of full "gas".
  3. To insert a shtekerny safety lock into the corresponding dredging of a cover of the hummock drive at a countersupport.
  4. At the lever of a butterfly valve at completely squeezed out accelerator pedal the gap has to make at most 1 mm.
