Conditioner

Gaseous freon compresses the compressor approximately the same as it occurs in the home refrigerator. The compressor is put in action by a cranked shaft of the engine by means of a maple belt. At compression freon becomes liquid and gets to the evaporator (radiator). Inside freon evaporates and thanks to it becomes capable to absorb heat. The air passing through the evaporator gets to salon the cooled. Via the condenser near a radiator of water cooling in a motor compartment coolant gets back to the compressor. For increase in condensation the cooling system fan constantly blows air via the condenser.

Maple or poliklinovy belt

For reliable operation of the conditioner the conditioner compressor belt has to be correctly tense maple. Models with the 6-cylinder engine instead of the maple have poliklinovy a belt with the automatic tension device. In more detail about belt drives it is written in the section Generator.

Help: repair of the conditioner in house conditions – except for control of a maple belt – is impossible. And even from masterful Audis not everyone can repair similar systems. Therefore at defects it is necessary to find out at first, whether employees have the corresponding qualification, and to address only in such workshops.
