  1. About too low level of brake fluid in Audi 80 you though will be warned by the indicator on a control panel, but nevertheless it is impossible to refuse visual control:
  2. To open a cowl and if necessary to clear a rag a receiver of brake fluid.
  3. Level of brake fluid has to be in a transparent tank between marks of "min" and "max". In this case everything is all right.

Too low level of liquid?

If overlays of the disk brake mechanism wore out already a little, the level of liquid is most likely near the lower mark; if they new, most likely it is above. It is absolutely normal because the pistons of the disk brake mechanism acting at worn-out slips already a little are farther, leave in cylinders of supports the bigger volume which is filled with brake fluid.

The critical moment comes if the level of brake fluid in a tank falls below the minimum mark. As brake fluid does not evaporate and is not spent, it means that in system somewhere there is not tight place. Therefore it is necessary to look for urgently the reason and a place of a leakage, without waiting until the pedal of a brake goes to emptiness. It is simple to add liquids in a tank is a self-deception!
