Details of a pulley of a cranked shaft at models with the 4-cylinder engine and the conditioner

1 – pulley nave;

The illustration shows the provision of installation of the compressor of the conditioner (1) of the 4-cylinder engine. The 4-cylinder engine has an additional, established in front pulley (2) on which there is an adjustment of a tension of a belt.

Models with 4-cylinder engines

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Maple a generator belt till September of 91 g: to weaken tightening a bolt on an adjusting level of the generator.
  2. To rotate the adjusting nut which is below with a gear wreath, the correct tension of a belt will not be established yet.
  3. To tighten tightening a bolt.
  4. If it is impossible to shift the generator, so it is necessary to weaken its hinged bolt.
  5. It becomes available in front after removal of a casing of a gear belt.
  6. If the hinged bolt was weakened, again it is necessary to tighten it in the latest turn.
  7. Maple a generator belt after October of 91 g: to weaken tightening a bolt on a bracket of fastening of the generator.
  8. To weaken a hinged bolt in the lower part of the generator, to check a legkokhodnost.
  9. To tighten the moment 6 N • m and to hold an adjusting nut with a gear wreath by means of a cap key of 22 mm with a dinamometrichesky head. So the tension of a belt will be true.
  10. To tighten a tightening bolt.
  11. In the last turn again to tighten a hinged bolt.
  12. Maple a belt for the water pump and the pump of the power steering: to remove the lower protection of a motor compartment (the head Elementy of a body).
  13. To weaken tightening a bolt on a level of fastening of the pump of the power steering.
  14. To rotate the adjusting nut which is below with a gear wreath until the correct tension of a belt is established.
  15. To tighten tightening a bolt.
  16. If the pump of the hydraulic booster cannot be shifted, so it is necessary to weaken his hinged bolt.
  17. Maple conditioner compressor belt: adjustment of a tension of a belt happens by taking out or addition of adjusting washers between a lobby and a back half of a pulley. The bigger quantity of adjusting washers between halves of a pulley means a smaller tension of a belt. The smaller quantity of adjusting washers between halves of a pulley leads to a bigger tension of a belt.
  18. Excess adjusting washers should be put between a nave and a forward half of a pulley.
  19. To tighten nuts the moment of 25 N • m, watching thus that maple did not jam a belt between pulley halves.
  20. Two times to turn a cranked shaft.
  21. To check a belt tension strong pressing of a thumb on an empty seat between a cranked shaft and the compressor of the conditioner.
  22. To start the engine and to allow it to work a little.
  23. Again to check a tension of a maple belt, if necessary to add or clean adjusting washers.
  24. At the correct tension of a belt to tighten bolts once again the moment of 25 N • m.

Models with 5-cylinder engines

Maple generator belt

1 – gear lath;

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Maple generator belt: to weaken tightening a bolt on a fastening lath.
  2. To turn the adjusting nut located below with a gear wreath until the right tension of a belt is established.
  3. To tighten tightening a bolt.
  4. If it is impossible to turn the generator, it is necessary to weaken a little a hinged bolt (the lower fastening of the generator) at the removed lower protection of a motor compartment.
  5. Maple power steering pump belt: to weaken fixing nuts on a lath of fastening and a rotary lath.
  6. For a tension of a belt to turn a tension bolt to the left, that is to turn out.
  7. Again to tighten nuts.
  8. Maple conditioner compressor belt: to weaken tightening bolts ahead and behind on a conditioner compressor arm.
  9. To take away a conditioner compressor arm together with the compressor to the right side of the car. If necessary to use the lever from below.
  10. If a belt tension correct, again to tighten tightening bolts.

Models with 6-cylinder engines

Tension of a poliklinovy belt at model with the 6-cylinder engine. In drawing the tension roller is recorded by means of a six-sided punch that gives the chance to turn it a cap key. In the photo the star-shaped bolt which for a provorachivaniye the star-shaped head with a suitable cap key is put on (2) is visible. Pin (1; on an illustration this role is carried out by a punch) is inserted into the opening provided for this purpose on the tension device thanks to what the tension device is fixed in this situation.

  • The tension of a poliklinovy belt is provided with the tension roller loaded with effort of a spring. Regulation is not required.
  • If the spring is broken, the belt freely sags over pulleys. In this case it is necessary to replace the tension device.
