If ABS is disconnected, on the dashboard the ABS indicator lights up. If during this time the engine was suppressed, and then started again, ABS again automatically joins.

With inclusion of ignition the ABS indicator on the dashboard flashes. It has to go out if the engine, the latest if the car moves with a speed more than 6 km/h works. If onboard tension falls lower than 10 V, the indicator lights up again. Also it can flash if one wheel is scrolled more long than 20 pages. In this case it is necessary to switch off and again to include ignition, to start the engine.

If the indicator burns constantly, so ABS is faulty. The equipped workshop of Audi or Bosch has to look for the reason of it respectively. Not each workshop can perform this work because additional tools and the trained personnel are for this purpose necessary – so ask before leaving the car.

In house conditions you can check only plug connections to the control unit, to sensors of frequency of rotation or to the hydraulic block.
