Provorachivaniye of the engine

For a provorachivaniye of a cranked shaft of the 4-cylinder engine manually it is necessary to put a key of 22 mm on a generator pulley nut. If the belt slips, it is necessary to press it.


The clamps of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders of the 5-cylinder engine have to be put in the represented sequence at first by the next moments of an inhaling of 5 N • m, then 10 N • m, and in the last turn of 12 N • m.

At the left: on the 5-cylinder engine the crankshaft can be turned a generator pulley nut (a key of 24 mm). If the belt slips a little, it needs to be loaded with a hand.

On the right: the cranked shaft of the 6-cylinder engine is turned the central bolt of a pulley of a cranked shaft. As the tool the 12-faced replaceable face head of 24 mm with a graggers or the lever is applied.


VMT is found if the mark "O" appeared on a flywheel under edge of the case of a transmission (shooter).

At the left: one more mark of VMT at 6-cylinder engines is located on a pulley or the lower protective cover of a gear belt (arrow).

On the right: at VMT of the moment of ignition of the first cylinder big openings of adjusting plates on both driving gear wheels of a camshaft are directed to the middle of the engine (shooter).

For carrying out some works it is necessary or to bring a cranked shaft into a certain situation, or to turn it.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. For this purpose in the car with a mechanical transmission on an equal surface it is necessary to include the fifth transfer and to roll away the car a little forward or back.
  2. On the 4-cylinder engine to put a curved cap key on 22 mm on the central nut of a pulley of the generator and to turn the engine through maple a belt. If the belt slips, it needs to be pressed through between pulleys a free hand and by that to pull.
  3. On the 5-cylinder engine to put a rozhkovy wrench of 24 mm on the central nut of a pulley of the generator and to turn the engine in the same way, as 4-cylinder.
  4. On the 6-cylinder engine to put a 12-faced replaceable face head of 24 mm on the central bolt of a pulley of a cranked shaft and to turn a cranked shaft a graggers or the lever.
  5. Never turn the engine for a bolt of fastening of a gear wheel of a gear belt on distributive to a shaft at the removed casing of a gear belt! The gear belt can jump, result – damages of the engine.

Installation of the cylinder 1 in the provision of the top dead point (TDP) of the moment of ignition

In the four-cycle engine the piston two times come to the top dead point (TDP): the first time at ignition of the let-in gas mixture and the second time after emission of exhaust gases with beginning in summary repeated absorption of mix of fuel/air. Usually at various adjusting works VMT of the moment of ignition of the first cylinder is necessary.

  1. 4-cylinder and 5-cylinder engines: to uncover, separating the breaker from the ignition distributor, the runner of the distributor of ignition and a protective cover. Again to put on the runner of the distributor and to turn the engine until contact of the runner is not over a small tag on the edge of the distributor. Thereby VMT is found.
  2. That this business was perhaps more exact probably it will be required to turn a cranked shaft a little in one or other party until in in a viewing opening of a transmission there is a marking "About" on a flywheel at edge of a viewing opening.
  3. 6-cylinder engine: to remove a casing of a gear belt on the right and at the left (it is described below in this chapter).
  4. To turn a cranked shaft until both openings of the fixing plates on both driving gear wheels of a camshaft are not established inside the friend opposite to the friend (to one line).
  5. To turn a little a cranked shaft in one or other party until in a viewing opening of a cover of a transmission there is a marking "About" on a flywheel at edge of a viewing opening.

Removal of a protective cover of the engine

  2. To remove a hose for removal of air from a case. To disconnect a plait of wires if is available.
  3. To weaken a cable of the drive of "gas" and to extend it from a support.
  4. To turn off fixing nuts.
  5. To remove overlays of rigidity.
  6. To lift a cover.
  7. If necessary to remove a maslootrazhatel.
  8. 5-cylinder engine: to remove a hose of the amplifier of brakes from an inlet collector.
  9. To remove the top part of an inlet collector and vpryskny nozzles (the head "System of injection of KE-III-Jetronic").
  10. To remove the distributive valve of stabilization of idling.
  11. To turn off fixing nuts, to remove overlays of rigidity.
  12. To uncover.

  20. To put on all four sides between sealing laying of a head of the block of cylinders and a cover of the bearing of a camshaft it is a little "Silimate" AMV 174 004 01 from a warehouse zapchaty Audi. To watch that thus the opening for oil below on a camshaft bearing cover was not hammered.
