Front bumpers
|
|
After a detachment of both parts of a front grille on the right and at the left in a bumper there are available both fixing bolts of a bumper. Now they can be turned out a key for an internal hexagon of 6 mm (shooter). |
|
|
The provision of an arm (1) fastening of sidewalls of a bumper can be changed after weakening of the bolts designated on an illustration by shooters. |
|
|
Shooters show on bolted connections which need to be weakened for removal of the lower protection of a motor compartment. |
Removal
|
|
- To open a cowl.
- To remove the lower protection of a motor compartment.
- To turn out in the middle behind a bumper from below a bolt with crosswise shliyets.
- To disconnect and remove small plug-in elements of a front grille on the right and at the left below in a bumper.
- Under them there is a bolt with an internal hexagon of 6 mm. To turn out it.
- To remove plastic expansion bolt shields on the right and at the left on the back lower ends of a bumper.
- To disconnect trailer parts of a bumper from body arms on a wing. For this purpose to press on lateral face of a bumper down, at the same time taking away it from a body.
- To hook the ends of a bumper over wheel niches and to remove in the direction forward.
- Now it is possible to remove a bumper in the direction forward.
- Cars with fog lights and/or indexes of turn in a bumper: to disconnect cable connections to headlights in a bumper.
- Cars with faroomyvatel: to disconnect hoses from nozzles and to close them traffic jams not to devastate the tank.
- Slips in front on a bumper can be removed separately.
- The holder of registration plate in the middle of a bumper is in front fixed by two bolts.
- After removal of the holder of registration plate both sidewalls can be removed from clamps separately by means of the flat plastic pallet. For this purpose to press down both small fixing wedges, at the same time carefully separating a slip a hand.

Installation
|
|
- To connect wires and water hoses.
- At first to establish a bumper in arms.
- Now to enter bumper sidewalls so that the ends of a bumper on faced facing of a wheel niche.
- At first to hang sidewalls for bottom edge on fastenings on a wing. Then to press a bumper sideways; thus the upper edge is fixed.

Alignment of bumpers
|
|
- Prosle should be checked installations of a bumper, whether everywhere the crack between the metal strip located is identical is slightly lower than headlights, and a bumper.
- However, the size between bottom edge of a cowl and a bumper is decisive.
- This distance has to make 6 mm.
- Otherwise it is necessary to remove once again a bumper, to weaken its arms and to shift them in longitudinal openings a little.

Help: plastic bumpers of Audi 80 practically without changes take the initial form even after strong collisions. Therefore damages from road accident on the details located behind a bumper can remain untouched. After collisions it is necessary to check (for existence or absence of damage) the following details: the forward party of a bumper under a slip (cross cracks), support behind a bumper, fixture of the case of a headlight, bottom edge of a cowl, a front grille. |
