Check of adjustment of headlights

By means of keys for an internal hexagon (arrow) it is possible to regulate the provision of a headlight at an open cowl. The adjusting screw on outer side of the car regulates height of a beam of light, the screw on car inside – lateral shift. |
The headlight will hardly be displaced by itself. But if the reflector or at once all headlight was replaced, it is necessary to check installation of light of headlights.
It is necessary to regulate headlights as well in case as a result of road accident it was damaged in front of the car, or after installation of new elements of a suspension bracket. Adjustment is made as follows:

- Adjustment condition: installation of a tilt angle of headlights should be put on "0".
- The most exact method of adjustment of headlights is, as before, a yustirovaniye by means of the special device for adjustment which mechanics in auto repair shop, at gas station or in service Bosch use.
- Adjustment of headlights of a driving beam of models with the 6-cylinder engine will be right in case adjustment of headlights of a passing beam is right.
- Adjustment of a light stream of fog lights: it is shown on a headlight on an illustration below on the right.
- At distance in five meters from an adjusting wall light bunches of fog lights have to be 100 mm below than the corresponding center of a headlight. Only height is regulated.
